It’s just gone 7am on a Saturday morning, I’ve had an awesome nights sleep and feel surprisingly awake and I’m asking myself the question “why am I running the London Marathon?”.
Well I think there are a few answers. Charity. Personal achievement etc, etc.
Thinking about it I think it’s just part of the journey rather than a destination. In the back of my mind I am thinking “what’s next?”. Well the answer to that is to keep on training. I started this whole running thing to get fit so once the marathon is done then I’m going to commit to keep going.
This will include:
Regular Active Release massages with Sarah Adams. (I think this will help my golf as well)
Going to PT sessions at fitness experts
Running or going to the gym.
Hopefully the end result will be waking up feeling like this more often…..and not having to breathe in when wearing swimming trunks!
