Posture

Why not just stand to the ball however you like in a comfortable way? Well the main reason is that you need balance when the club is swinging round you at speed.

Your body also needs to be able to rotate, coil and release!

The keys points to your posture will be:
– hinge from the waist;
– back straight;
– slightly squat with the lower body; and
– weight balanced evenly across the feet.

When the back is rounded the spine won’t want to rotate and this leads to problems with consistency.

Good posture puts the body in a position that is ready to move and is balanced.

I recommend spending a few minutes working on your golf posture at home in front of a mirror.
